2021 has been an absolute whirlwind, to say the least, but if there’s any saving grace for all the months spent away in lockdown, it has to be the end of the year holidays, and the treats that come with it.

This year has been foul. I am completely done. I can’t wait to kiss 2020 goodbye, don’t let it hit you on the way out, sis.
But if there is one last hurdle, it’s Christmas. New Years doesn’t technically count because my bedtime is 11 AM the next day and that’s entering 2021’s domain (everyone please, for the love of God, be nice to 2021, we get to start fresh and we don’t want to piss her off).

Dream Team Editorial
It’s an honour to be able to share beautiful work done by some of New Zealand’s best and brightest creatives. We stumbled across this shoot, that was an accumulation of efforts, and it felt so Saucey. That’s the thing about creating work for the love of it, it’s incomparable, unbeatable, it just beautifully is.

In my spare time I love to watch films, specifically historical dramas & french new wave. You can find me curled up with a book or saving images to my Pinterest.... my all time favourite season is summer as it includes many swims and bushwalks.

Celebrating our community
The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is celebrated on the 3rd of December each year. The day is promoted across the world by the United Nations to encourage a better understanding of disability issues.
There is no one definition of being a ‘Saucette’; however, we all share similar traits that run deep. We’re resilient, open-minded and we’re passionate. No one can contain us.
In honour of IDPD, we spoke to five Saucettes about life, empowerment and what’s next in 2021.
