PRIDE

Cxnt Vol.1, directed by Logan ‘Honey’ Collins is taking to the stage at the Basement Theatre during Pride month. This innovative and thought-provoking performance pushes back against censorship and the policing of queer bodies. A must-see performance for those interested in cutting-edge dance and performance art.

February 7th - 10th. Tickets are available here.

Eat

We all love a bit of Italian in our lives. Nestled in St Kevin’s Arcade is this little gem, Pici. A little taste of Europe, a perfect place to go if you are feeling like those home away from home comforts. Fresh pasta and wine are the perfect pair, so why not! But a must is their famous cheesecake topped with, yes… olive oil.

A Journey

PRIDE

Festival of Live Art, F.O.L.A is a wild, celebratory mash up of subversive, playful, and daring art shaped around the sun and moon cycles, with each live work programmed during the exact timings of moonrise and sunset. The result is a festival that takes the audience on a journey that encourages clandestine pockets of darkness and transcendent moments of lightness that lean in our planet's celestial cycles.

Local and international independent artists will come together from 14 – 19 February at Basement Theatre and digitally, to challenge perceptions and push the boundaries of performance and art. More here.

The Last Kai, is a take on a classic religious image, the Last Supper. Using familiar iconography from Pacific homes, the Artist brings attention to important discussions surrounding women's representation in modern Pacific households.
