A tribute to NZFW — Zambesi showcases S24 collection with 45 models walking along the Viaduct basin

Zambesi unveiled its avant-garde S24 collection right in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau, with 45 models strutting the waterfront tidal steps overlooking the bustling Viaduct Harbour basin. Onlookers had the chance to catch the show from the bridge and surrounding steps, giving them a sneak peek into the world of fashion week. This show was a remarkable show of support for NZFW, marking its return after a three-year hiatus. What's more, everything seemed to align perfectly, with the golden hour sunshine casting a magical glow on the silver decals (crafted by The Blink Boys) that shimmered on the tidal steps.

Zambesi's visionary, Elisabeth Findlay, drew inspiration from the urban tapestry, seamlessly blending unexpected designs with the brand's signature style. The collection effortlessly marries the unconventional with the familiar, beautifully encapsulating the essence of Zambesi. Strong, well-defined silhouettes paired with flowing silks strike a harmonious balance between form and function, offering a sense of both freedom and restraint.

And let's not forget to mention Kiekie Stanner, who added a touch of enchantment to the show with her cool makeup looks, complemented by Benjamin James' masterful hair styling from Ryder Salon.

Zambesi's S24 show was more than just a fashion event; it served as a tribute to New Zealand's creative community.
