What’s in my cart: with creative pacesetter, Emma Gott
If there’s one woman who’s always on the move, it’s Emma Gott. Founder of Emma Gott Creative, a full service creative and communication agency in Sydney, Australia. Emma doesn’t just have her finger on the pulse; she’s setting the beat. For someone who’s perpetually in a million places at once, I could never imagine her having a foot out of place, always perfectly put together, skin like porcelain, effortlessly cool style, the person you really want as your friend.
We picked her brain about what we should add to our carts now that we could feel the sun on our backs.
No gatekeeping allowed, ever.
Lucy Folk Tribute necklace - This special treasure would be at the top of my Christmas tree wish list. It is made to order by a very talented master jeweller in Melbourne and can be personalised depending on what stone gets you excited (malachite!).
Yu Mei, Georgie bag - Tangerine dream (bag)! This is the perfect sized bag in the perfect colour leather
Jil Sander, knee boots - I will always enjoy a puss-in-boots moment.
Lucy Folk, Atlantis Silk Mini Shirt Dress - I mean, does it get any more festive than a red silk mini in December? I think not. If Lucy Folk isn’t on your radar, I suggest you check it out ASAP, as it’s all you’ll want to wear this summer (and every summer).
Philips, Air dehumidifier & purifier - This is probably the most unsexy gift, but it is something I would be very happy to receive - there is a lot of unsexy mould hanging around in Sydney at the moment, which is not very ideal for my wardrobe.
Tasmin Johnson, Atomic Zig Zag Coat Hook - I am opening my very first showroom/concept space/office in two weeks, so I am searching for interesting things to fill it with. This 1940’s zig-zag coat hook would be quite a handy addition.
Rira, addled tall glass - A set of these glasses would be nice for a long hot summer of chilled orange wine post-beach.
