On Sunday we hosted a little afternoon soirée to welcome Autumn with a floral styling workshop with our friends from Isadia, along with a beautiful wine tasting session with Andy Bulman of The Hunting Lodge, in a cosy co-working space in Herne Bay, The Village. During the workshop Isabel and Lydia guided us through the art of floral arranging, and styling a causal table setting with Isadia’s intuitive and naturalistic style in mind. Their approach is unstructured and elegant using flowers and foliages of the season. We created ikebana style arrangements incorporating fruits and other objects of interest, followed by a wonderful tasting session with The Hunting Logde’s Andy Bulman. [The Hunting Lodge is a 80-acre estate located just 30mins drive from the CBD in the heart of Auckland's wine country that homes some of New Zealand’s award winning wines.]
